Victoria Hunt tells this story about the wedding. She said her mother remembers how they told of Louanna's wedding day. They forgot Uncle Doc's collar and someone had to ride twenty miles round trip to get it. People were getting "antsy" waiting. Grandmother Mariah went to the mantle and turned the hands on the clock back an hour saying that "now we're getting married on my time!" (Hunt, Victoria, e-mail 25 May 2002, 11:33 PM)
