Shared note | He was James A. Alexander, Jr., born 111 Pavilion St., 9th Ward, Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas. His parents were James A. Alexander, born in Waterford, Mississippi and Lou Eva White, born Hatton, Lawrence County, Alabama. His father was a barber, and his mother was a housewife. The number of children born to the mother was one. He was born alive at 11 AM. The certificate number was 62902, and the register number was 1549. He was found to have been buried on the Alexander-Williams family plot when Lenore Williams died. The family was neither notified nor gave permission. He had been married many times-twice to the mother of his children. I think he was married about five times. He died in 1976. Meisner Brown Funeral home buried him. The service was Apr. 8,1976 and was a grave side service. (Information from Shannons Funeral Home, Fort Worth, which ran the cemetery) Census: In 1940 he was living in his parents' home and working as a musician. |
