Texas State Death Certificate:
He is Charles Reese Daniel, residing at 1811 Summers St., Waco, Texas, born 30 Jun 1892. He was married to Mrs. Myra T. Daniel. He was employed as a mill man in a planing [sic] mill, and last worked on that job 4 Jun 1938. He had spent 31 years in that occupation. He was born to James K. Daniel, born in Alabama, and Elizabeth Shanks, born in Louisiana. The date of death was 10 Jun 1938. The cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage with no contributory causes. He had an operation on 5 Jun 1938, but the name of the operation is unclear to me. The onset of the disease occured 4 Jun 1938. There was an autopsy.

In 1910 he lived with his mother and worked as a laborer in a plaining mill (1910 census information provided by James Daniel). In 1920 he was living in McLennan Co, TX, close to his mother & siblings. Information from James Daniel shows Charles R. Daniel and wife Myra living at 1811 Summer Street in Waco at the time of the 1920 Census. He owned his home free and clear.
