Shared note | His birth date is probably between 1805 and 1807. His father was dismissed in 1806 from the SC church with no wife mentioned and received in the GA church in 1807 with a wife. Elias's son Theo. B. in 1880 said his father had been born in SC. Elias purchased land at the Cahaba land office in 1831, 34, 39 twice, and 40. He and two others sell to Wm. L. May in 1844, Lowndes Co. His children are with his father in 1850, with no sign of Sarah. In some records he is called Ephriam. However, there may be some question about the identity of Ephraim Daniel. More research may be needed here. "Theop. cemetery=Stallings cemetery=Simmerly cemetery". |
