She states in a letter to Chester McDonald, that Leonard Daniel was her "grandmother's father". Mrs Minnie Lewis lived at 410 Main Street, Junction, TX and also had a home in Odessa, TX. Her delayed birth record is recorded in Vol. 15, p. 411 of Limestone County birth records. It includes the following information: In 1961 The Odessa American had an article that told how she had spent several months in Saudi Arabia with her son who lived there. Robert was the supervisor of communications in Saudi Arabia and Jordan for his oil company, and he lived in Tapline. During her visit she was able to visit Egypt, Jordan, and Jerusalem, driving 400 miles to spend Palm Sunday at the Mount of Olives. During her visit, a newspaper in Lebanon (published mostly in English) published an article about her complete with red headlines. It mentioned that she was the adopted grandmother of the children in Turaif who called her "Mother Lewis." Social Security Death Index: U.S., 1937-1997
