Annalee Wardlaw 1945 - 2004
Annalee Wardlaw, 59, went to the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2004, after a courageous eight-year battle with pulmonary hypertension and liver failure.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home.
Annalee Wardlaw was born in Cleburne on May 10, 1945, to Jake and Laverne Perkins. She attended Cleburne High School and received her bachelor's degree in education from Howard Payne University. She later earned a master's degree from North Texas State University. Annalee taught third and fourth grade at Nancy J. Cochran Elementary in the Dallas ISD. She also taught fourth grade at Crow Elementary in Arlington. After retiring from the Arlington ISD, she taught reading at Tarrant County College.
Annalee was an active member of Fielder Road Baptist Church, the OPTI-MRS, Arlington Woman's Club, Newcomers Club and the Red Hat Ladies. She loved to do caring and thoughtful things for others.
She will be remembered and loved for her dedication to others and her courage in living life to the fullest in spite of her illness.
Survivors: Her loving husband, Robert Wardlaw of Arlington; her son, Michael Williams of Lubbock; her brother, John Perkins and wife, Nancy; and nephew, John Perkins. Annalee will also be missed by many friends.
