Shared note

The dates for the two marriages of Annie McBride are from BEMc's Apr 1992 listing. "W. G. Daniel age 29 to Miss Annie P. McBride". In a 14 Sep 1964 ltr from MFDR: She says what a great pleasure it had been having CEMcD and Theo and wife in her home. "... I'm not giving up at all - for I do have Faith I will find some help for you boys - I have a little help - the Will Daniel I told you was Deputy sheriff in Butler Co - a son of Joe & Lizzie Reasons was was shot - killed near his home one night. He lived near a saw mill hearing some one whom he though were getting lumber. He was between two stacks shot from back never known who the intruder was. He was married to a pretty girl, Annie McBride... no children mentioned. This was told me last week by an old settler of Greenville - He had 3 brothers, Charlie, Fred and Ralph all dead. They were half brothers of Frank and Pearl..." In Sarah Haynie's May 1992 corrections to this line, she said that Willie George was a private detective, and crossed out sheriff. She then added the three children to the Fritz and Taylor families (as shown).
