He "married Susan Lee and became the father of; James, David, Billy, Henry, & Jane." (31) The Bozeman typescript adds the family of his second wife and shown information. This typescript gives the wife's name as Susan Williams Lee (A widow Lee or is Williams her middle name?) The story that Susan was poisoned by a slave cook given to her by her parents is debunked on one of the unnumbered last pages of the booklet. His will, is copied in CEMcD notes, p. 101. Census:
