In 1980 there was a diiner party in honor of her 95th birthday. It was attended by 34 members of her family who were able to attend the party at her home. It was hosted by her children John and Kenna Beck as well as her grandchildren Nancy Clyde and her grandchildren Nancy Clyed and John Keitt. At that time she had a step daughter named Mrs. Alice Beck Lattimore of Dallas who was married to Durwood. Others of that family also attended. She had briefly lived in Frost, attended school in Denton and Austin, and taught school in Kerens. Kerens was what she considered to be her home. Both buried at Restland Cemetery, Kerens, TX.
