Bishop Kerley Freda L. Kerley, 65, of Lincoln, Ill., died at 1:12 p.m. Sunday, June 3, at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital at Lincoln, Ill. She was born November 20, 1914 in Clark County, Illinois, to Robert and Clara (Morgan) Bishop and was married to Willard Kerley on September 7, 1939, also in Clark County. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Deanne Harden of Mt. Carmel, Ill., Joanne Kerley, at home, and Ronda Kavelman of Lincoln; one son, John, of Lincoln; one foster daughter, Sharon Murphy of Lincoln; two sisters, Maxine Macke of Martinsville, Ill. and Pauline Bell of Marshall, Ill.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 11:00 a.m. at the Lincoln Christian Church with burial in the Zion Cemetery at Lincoln. The Holland-Barry Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
