Beyond our Elusive William Daniel

She was adopted in Linn County, Oregon, and census records said she was born in Oregon. There may be problems with the information due to the adoption. I have not found a probable Anna Louise Anderson in Oregon, but there are some possibilites in Washington state. She and Hale were married in Washington, so there is a possibility of a connection there since she was apparently adopted as an older child rather than a baby. More research needed.
