Ione Taylor mentions that her great, great, grandfather Barrett brought his son, Quince to Baylor University in Waco. Joshua would be her great grandfather, but the time seems right. Which generation is he? Could he actually be the son of Anderson J. Barrett? Research needed here. A brief search of the online resources of the Texas Collection of Baylor University has not turned his name up in lists of students in the lifetime of Joshua Barrett. More research needed to determine the accurracy of this story, or if there was a different college involved. |
