Her husband was a twin of Elias Francis McCormack.
The following is an excerpt from a 23 Nov 1965 letter from Eva to Chester E. McDonald:
"...I have read about 1/2 of the package, ... one family I have in mind is the Banks, I heard Papa speak of them several times but couldn't remember where they stood in the picture. I noticed in you record she was grandpa's niece (Olivia Frances "Frankie" Daniel ??) who married a Banks. I never did see any of the family but Papa said grandpa never would visit the family because the boys were so rough he didn't want to come in contact with them. I don't know how many boys there were, but one was named Dan, who got out with a gun one day to kill his daddy. The old man got around the corner of the house just in time to miss the shot when Dan fired at him. He did so much other meanness, the sheriff had orders to get him dead or alive. The old man knew about it, he was sitting in the house when he heard gun fire, he said "they've got Dan" and fainted. There was another one who went to Greenville one day. People there heard that he was coming. There was one merchant who was eager to meet him because he had heard so much about the Banks. When the Banks man got there he went into this merchant's store, introduced himself and talked awhile; he was so nice and polite the merchant began to think he had been misrepresented, but before he got ready to leave, he told the merchant he wanted to see him dance awhile. The merchant said "I can't dance", and they argued a little about dancing, when Banks took out a pistol and said "the fact is, you've got to dance", so the merchant shuffled around awhile, then said " I can't dance in these shoes but if you'll let me step back here and get my slippers I'll show you a step or two." When he went for his slippers he came back with a pistol and said "now it's time for you to dance awhile." He made Banks dance 'till he couldn't dance anymore, and was glad to leave town when he got a chance...that's all I remember hearing Papa tell about the Banks"....
