There seems to be an error in the date of her death in the tombstone transcriptions. It appears that they should read a death date of 18 Nov 1877 instead of 1887. I have been unable to personally verify this information. |

"Bostwick married F. Z. T. & William Morris' sister". See CEMcD notes for this family in the 1860 & 1880 census records (111, 114, 119-M) and for Theo Bostwick's war record, 100.1. Bostwick replaced Capt Zachariah when he became Capt. Her parents should be identifiable in the 1850 census. His pension file should be ordered to identify possible descendants. She is shown as Salerna S. on the marriage record 13-11-1857. The family Bible records say that she died 18 Nov 1877. Some tombstone transcriptions found on the Internet have an incorrect death date. A photograph on the Find a Grave website verifies the 1877 death date. The tombstone, however, appears to be newer than the 1877 death date indicated on the stone.
